Children and their families can enjoy two activities at  the Tahlequah Public Library.  From 10:00 to 11:00 children may read to the library therapy dog, Kimber, in the meeting room.  Children read one-on-one in a private setting.  By reading this way children gain confidence in their reading.  Kimber loves to listen and never criticizes.  Children may bring books or magazines from home or choose something to read from the many choices at the library.  At 11:00 a family storytime will be held in the children’s area.  Children and their adults will enjoy books, songs and a craft.  The Paws to Read program and family storytime are offered on the second Saturday of each month.  Enjoy your library!
